The Sand Dollar Retreat was a wonderful stay for my family. Plenty of space for my wife and I as well as our two kiddos. Well stocked kitchen and beautiful views. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed there 4 nights for my daughters prom it was a great stay unfortunately weather did not cooperate for two of the days but other than that I would highly recommend this house and will stay again.

We would absolutely recommend staying at Alejandro’s beach house! It was very comfortable and clean! The outside needs some TLC due to weathering, but I mentioned those things to him and it sounds like work will be scheduled soon to fix some things. The TV in one of the rooms is ginormous, so we enjoyed two movie nights on the king size bed. It felt like a movie theater. No bugs in house. This is HUGE for me. Great care was taken to fill all holes around the house, so we enjoyed peace of mind there. We drove to the beach via Buccaneer Dr beach access and parked right on the sand. So convenient! The kitchen has a small dishwasher and microwave, but both worked great! Toaster, blender, Pyrex, muffin tin, coffee maker, smores skewers, etc. Pack n plays fit in both rooms. We brought our water filter pitcher. 👍 Loved sitting outside for meals! There are security cameras on the deck which made it feel a little less private. Shoes are needed on deck. Alejandro was so kind and responsive!

After a last-minute pivot due to a very difficult experience with the house we originally booked, we were honestly hesitant about booking another Airbnb. Thankfully, choosing Alejandro & Rachanas home turned out to be the best decision we could have made. From the beginning, Alejandro was incredibly helpful, understanding, & easy to talk to. He was responsive every step of the way, answered questions quickly, and checked in on us during our stay to ensure everything was going well. That level of care made a huge difference and immediately put us at ease. Despite a last minute booking the home was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you might need. It was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered to make guests feel at home. After such a stressful start to our trip, walking into such a welcoming and well-prepared space was a HUGE relief. This stay completely restored our faith in Airbnb. Words aren’t enough-thank you so much, Alejandro & Rachana!!

We had a wonderful stay! Perfect views everything we needed in a place to stay and the amenities were great! Loved how close everything was including a walk across the street to the beach! We were also provided with everything we needed to enjoy ourselves at the beach which was a nice touch! The chairs, the wagon, tennis rackets, beach toys and so much more! Would definitely book again!

We stayed here with our kids and the grandparents and had a wonderful time, lots of space and everything we needed. I want to mention that the kitchen is extremely clean and well organized and we appreciated the little coffee bar. We enjoyed the deck and the neighborhood is lovely and quiet. Would definitely recommend if want to see a different side to Galveston Seawall! We'll be back ❤️

We enjoyed the home and especially the yard and outdoor space. Just a few minutes to drive and park on the beach too! Space was clean and the beds were comfy. Great stay!
